Maintpartner to provide comprehensive operation and maintenance for Fortum in Czestochowa, Poland

Maintpartner ASI Sp. z o.o. has entered into a partnership agreement to provide comprehensive operation and maintenance services for Fortum Power and Heat Poland Sp. z o.o. Agreement concerns the power plants Dejtana and Brzeźnicka, in Czestochowa. The agreement will enter into force on 1st of December 2011. Maintpartner's offering covers operation of power plants, production facility and power plant maintenance services as well as fuel intake services for CHP plant. A total of 28 employees will be transferred to Maintpartner.

"The partnership with Maintpartner is an important milestone for us. With this contract we continue on our path of concentrating our operations on CHP production and operations supporting CHP. I am extremely delighted that we can have Maintpartner with us in implementing this", says Mikael Lemström, President of Fortum Power and Heat Poland.

The agreement with Fortum is an important achievement for Maintpartner in Poland. Maintpartner is committed to the continuous improvement of the operation and maintenance processes for the plants. "The agreement will also strengthen the co-operation between the companies already existing in Finland and Sweden. Maintpartner kicks off expert service business

Maintpartner has made a strategic decision to fulfil our service portfolio and start actively offering expert services to support our full service business. There is a clear demand for these services in all our countries. In some cases the share of individual services within specific technical areas are very significant. Our vision is to offer industrial operation and maintenance services as "one stop shop" principle and hence strengthen our position as a provider and partner for comprehensive service solutions.
Expert service operations are divided into two main categories; services and solutions, for example machine tool and crane services. Different services have been centralised to various locations.
For expert service business we have established beside our country organisations an Expert Service SBU (Strategic Business Unit). Tommi Kajasoja has been appointed as a Head of Expert Services reporting to Group CEO Tuomo Rönkkö.

Maintpartner becomes the main owner of Teollisuuden KPP Oy in Finland

Maintpartner has signed an agreement to acquire the majority of Teollisuuden KPP Oy shares. KPP has focused on delivering expert maintenance services primarily to manufacturing and process industries and public sector. KPP also delivers services for machine and production line relocation and modification, crane service and measuring equipment calibration. The company employs approx. 80 people in Finland.
Acquisition follows Maintpartner's international growth strategy and is the first step for systematic expansion of the operations to the area of expert services. "During the spring we made a strategic decision to fulfil our service portfolio with expert services to support our maintenance and operations offerings. There is a clear demand for these services and in some cases the share of individual services within specific technical areas can become very significant", says Maintpartner Group CEO Tuomo Rönkkö.

Maintpartner and Insta to provide comprehensive maintenance for STEP Oy in Harjavalta, Finland

Maintpartner and Insta Automation have entered into a partnership agreement to provide comprehensive maintenance services for Suomen Teollisuuden Energiapalvelut - STEP Oy. Agreement concerns the power plant in Harjavalta, Finland. The three-year agreement will enter into force on 1 January 2012.
Maintpartner and Insta are committed to the continuous improvement of maintenance operations and production processes for STEP.

Maintpartner and VAASAN extends their co-operation in Nordic: Maintpartner takes over VAASAN Fagersta maintenance operations in Sweden

Maintpartner Sweden and VAASAN Group have signed an outsourcing agreement regarding maintenance at VAASAN Sverige AB production facility in Fagersta. Maintpartner takes over the maintenance responsibility from 1 September 2011. Seven people of VAASAN's technical organisation will transfer to Maintpartner as existing employees.

"This agreement extends Maintpartner and VAASAN Nordic partnership. With this activity we are strengthening the development of our maintenance operations in Sweden and we can see good potential in sharing the practices between Finland and Sweden using one international business partner", says Juhani Tanayama from VAASAN.

New operating model for Boliden Harjavalta Oy's maintenance in Finland

Maintpartner Oy and Insta Automation Oy have signed a new partnership agreement for comprehensive maintenance with Boliden Harjavalta Oy in Finland. This over 5-year agreement takes effect September 1, 2011, and covers Boliden Harjavalta Oy's production facilities in Harjavalta and Pori.

The total value of the agreement is very significant on a Finnish scale. With the transfer of business, and at the launch of the service, about 120 employees will transfer from the payroll of the previous maintenance supplier to the payroll of Maintpartner Oy and Insta Automation Oy as existing employees.

Maintpartner and Insta are jointly committed with Boliden to significantly improve Boliden Harjavalta Oy's maintenance functions and production productivity.

The new operating model is unique in that two of the leading experts in their sector, Maintpartner and Insta, have joined forces to form a partnership that is built on the strengths of each company and to provide improved lifecycle management of Boliden's production facilities. This kind of model has never before been implemented at this scale in Finland.

Maintpartner launches new visual identity to reinforce the cornerstones in its services - customer focus, reliability and change execution. The new visual identity builds on our expertise in industrial maintenance and operation.
We are experts in maintaining the availability of production processes, helping thus our customers to focus on their core business. We aim to grow profitably, also internationally, and our ambition is to be leading technical service company in the Baltic Sea region. Our strategy, ways of working and now also the new visual identity supports us in reaching this goal.

New elements refreshing the look

The Maintpartner logotype has undergone an evolution. New items that can be combined with the logo are a stripe element and a slogan.
The slogan "Your business. Our focus" expresses the dedication to understand our customers' business and commitment to do our utmost to meet, or even exceed, our customers' expectations.
Our redesigned website www.maintpartner.com was launched in mid-May. We hope it will offer a greatly improved user-experience for all the visitors. The change of all materials will be gradual. Logos in signs, cars and working clothes among others will be renewed mainly by the end of the year.

Maintpartner expands to Poland and acquires ASI Polska

Maintpartner has signed an agreement to acquire ASI Polska Sp. z o.o. from the Polish engineering company PROCHEM S.A.
ASI Polska is an industrial service company with its primary focus on maintenance of technical processes in manufacturing industry. The company employs over 120 people in Katowice, Gdansk and Warsaw regions.
The acquisition is in line with Maintpartner's strategy to grow internationally, and is the first step to expand its operations to Poland.

In Poland the maintenance outsourcing sector is still a relatively new business area with a substantial growth potential.
